It is a well known fact that the majority of our guests visit us in July and August (and even in September - although the number of guests is slightly lower due to the end of the holiday season).
Summer months are the right time to visit for a number of reasons. Firstly, practically all the activities we offer are available every day in those months. For example, canyoning, as one of the most popular activities, is possible the earliest at the beginning of June, and more often, if there is a lot of rain, we can start canyoning in the second half of June. Also, in summer months, the weather is much warmer and there is a very small chance that the fog will block your view on the rainforest if you decide to go to the 4x4 Jeep Safari. The nature is the most beautiful in summer, the Tara River is crystal clear and definitely the most beautiful rafting photos are made in this period.
Although spring and autumn rafting is magical (mostly for real lovers of adrenaline), the atmosphere in our camp is always the best in the summer. The home-like atmosphere, warm summer weather and crazy parties are often the reason why many of our guests are seen in our camp for several times during one season.
During rafting our guests have another great advantage in summer: YOU WEAR SIMMING SUIT UNDER YOUR NEOPRENE RAFTING SUIT! :-) That means swimming in the refreshing Tara waters, below the waterfalls ... On several stops, there are places perfect for jumping into water from a few meters of height. And here the funniest photos are taken. Our guests enjoy spraying, overtaking and various improvised, fun tricks with one goal-to make the guests in other boats as wet as possible.
ALTHOUGH ALL THIS MAKES A PERFECT SUMMER ADVENTURE, AT TEMPERATURES OVER 30C, OUR GUESTS ARE ALWAYS ADVISED TO PROTECT THEMSELVES WITH SUNSCREENS, SUNGLASSES, ETC.
Because of pleasant summer temperatures, socializing and parties in the camp last longer. The guests are more active and sports activities in the afternoon always turn into real competitions with spectators to cheer them on.
