Workdays for Rafting and Outdoor Activities Schedule

Rafting Center Drina Tara organizes rafting tours and all other outdoor activities every day! This means that you can come to us every day and join rafting, hiking, 4x4 safari, canyoning, squad rides, etc …

We are often contacted by guests about whether rafting and other activities are held only on weekends or they can be organized on other days. It is clearly stated on our website, but in this text we will deal with outdoor activities schedule in more detail.

OUR SEASON STARTS IN APRIL, AND UNTIL MID OCTOBER WE HAVE DAILY ACTIVITIES. RAFTING IS ORGANIZED EVERY SINGLE DAY DURING THIS PERIOD.

Rafting is never canceled due to weather conditions, or water levels. Usually in May, due to the high water level, for safety reasons the rafting route is reduced by about 2km for several days. It is usually for about 7 days after which the standard route is open again.

Hiking is an activity that is becoming available to all tourists who do not have special equipment for winter conditions at the end of April or the first days of May. Hiking to Trnovac Lake, Zelengora or Durmitor mountain is usually not possible in March and April due to too high snow in the mountain.

Canyoning is an activity that usually starts with the first days of June, but it depends on water levels in small canyons (Nevidio and Hrcavka), so sometimes canyoning is not possible even later than that. Sometimes it is not possible for a day or two after the rain.

ATV Quad driving is an activity we offer 365 Days of the Year!!! You can drive ATV Quads both in the summer and winter, but in conditions of a lot of snow it is not possible.

WHATEVER ACTIVITY YOU CHOOSE, OUR RECOMMENDATION IS ALWAYS TO CHOOSE WORKDAYS TO VISIT THE TARA CANYON AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. ADVANTAGES ARE MANY.

For example, from Sunday to Friday, it is much easier to reach us, the roads are less crowded, and it only takes a minute or two to cross the border.

It is also less crowded in the Drina Tara Rafting Center, our staff has more time and space to devote to each guest individually, with more time to chat, meet, socialize, etc. Whoever likes our phenomenal parties on Fridays and Saturdays in the evening with a live gig, may be surprised when on workdays they come to a great atmosphere even with fewer guests in the camp. However, it's not as loud as the weekend and it gives a lot more freedom to feel the real and untouched nature around us.

On workdays, you will receive incomparably more favorable prices, especially for certain arrangements, or you will be given other benefits.

In our Rafting Center you will never come to the situation that you are accommodated with unknown people, you receive bungalows with us only for your company, your group, but you will have a lot more space on working days to choose and even more bungalows than you need, etc.

On weekdays, you will be able to do more things that are not common in the standard program with our skipper or guide - you can prolong some activities, maybe see something new, or adjust the program and activity to your own needs.

And there are much less people doing outdoor activities on workdays. There are dozens of boats going rafting on Saturday while this number in other days is incomparably smaller, and you can truly feel all the beauty, peace, quiet and the most beautiful sounds of true nature and wildlife..

We are known as really flexible regarding all issues, from welcoming our guests late at night, to adjusting the time of meals, activities, or complete arrangements according to the wishes and needs of our guests, and during the week we are even more flexible! :)

Some people come to us because they have to due to business obligations, others come because they like a great evening party and lots of people in the activities, some come because they think that there is no other way ... And all our guests leave the camp really satisfied, but we would like to invite you to visit us between Sunday and Friday too and enjoy this time in something a bit different, close to nature and close to yourself!
